Before your procedure:

Avoid sun exposure, sun-tanning, and self-tanning creams for at least 4 weeks.

Use spf 15 (or greater) sun block daily for 4 weeks.

Discontinue usage of Retin-A compounds and cease all hair removal regimens (including plucking, waxing, bleaching, and depilatory agents such as Nair) 2 weeks prior to the scheduled procedure. If necessary, however, you may shave during that time.


After your procedure:

Avoid creams with irritants for 1 week. This includes all fruit acid and retin-A containing products.

Follow a skin care regimen that includes a sun block and continue stringent sun protection for a period of 3 months.

Do not worry if hair shafts extrude over the first 1-2 weeks. This is not actual hair growth and will stop soon.
